WORKING PRINCIPLES:
Save paper and energy; plan the arrangement of elements on heavyweight paper cards. In some cases, several elements will fit on one card. Find the most economical option. Print only the elements to be cut out. You can view the instructions in the PDF file.
Before gluing two elements together, check that their graphics match.
Always cover both joined elements with glue. You will get a slip that will make it easier to align the elements properly.
Always press the combined surfaces on both sides with a creasing cube*.
Make each piece from start to finish (cut, glue, crush the edges, crease, etc.). Paper moist from glue makes it easier to fold, crease, etc.
Take your time. Be thorough. If something doesn't come out, tear off the glued parts, brush again with glue and correct. You will mask imperfections with paint, marker, crayon.
*Creasing cube - if you do not have one you can make it yourself, for example, from a plastic ruler. Just round and smooth one corner. You can use a child's table knife, etc. as a substitute.
Also watch our videos, where we show you step-by-step how to do each step.
We wish you brilliant fun!
Each product comes with graphic instructions that will make your task easier.
2. Print on 80 - 90 g paper, grease the printed cards with glue stick and stick them on 250g heavyweight paper cards. You will get a grammage of about 330g (80g + 250g) which makes your work easier and guarantees that the coloring you will stick together will be stiff and will not bend after coloring.
If your printer refuses to print on such stiff paper then there is a second way:
You have two methods to choose from:
1. Print the material directly on sheets of heavyweight paper
(250g). If your printer allows this option then great - half of the work is behind you. All that's left is cutting out, creasing and a bit of gluing. Instructions are added to each product. Skip the first points about cutting and gluing the cards.
The materials we recommend are widely available in most stationery stores. If they are not used 100% they will certainly find another use at home.
The materials to build our coloring structures are available in PDF format. You need to print them out.
Print only the cards with the elements to be cut out. Instructions and directions or the title page do not need to be printed - you can use them in the pdf file.
